Theme of the year 2023
Cultivating a relationship to the Etheric Christ
Have you heard that some are finding meaning in their lives and exploring the deeper significance of things with others? Are there questions you carry for which you have not yet found an answer?
There is a place where people have gathered, and are gathering again, to explore their questions and find new connections in their lives, amidst the chaos of the world. It is a discovery of a world view that raises consciousness of one’s humanity. A process of seeing and grasping the world that brings about a deeper inspiration for one’s own life path. In this way an understanding of how to reach out and connect with others is grounded on an ever-growing knowledge of human development.
This place is the Africa Seminary of The Christian Community - Movement for Religious Renewal.
It is possible for anyone searching to join this endeavour, and work on discovering the spiritual basis of life, work and prayer.
Our theme for 2023 is Cultivating a Relationship to the Etheric Christ. Rev. Jonah Evans from The Christian Community Seminary based in Toronto visited in February to establish this theme. Three modules taking place in May, August and November will extend and deepen the aspects of the theme introduced by Jonah in February. In May we will consider: The Christ Impulse in us, in August: The Encounter with Christ in Life, and in November: The Way of Communion in and with Christ.
The modules are open to anyone interested in this extended exploration. The participants may choose to attend one or more modules, as they see fit. The cost of each module is R550. The registration for 2023 is open for those who wish to participate: please go to www.AfricaSeminary.org.za
There are no expectations of qualifying or passing grades within the Africa Seminary - this is a path of self-development and discovery, and it will unfold for each as it must. Some participants may be exploring the question of the role of priesthood and a deeper commitment in spiritual life as expressed and lived out in The Christian Community, Movement for Religious Renewal.

“We must come to realise that in the future the most important events must be sought, not in the physical plane, but outside and beyond it, just as Christ must be sought in the spiritual world when He appears in His etheric form.”
